🔦 local spotlight

this week we’re crossing the bridge to gaia! a lot of portuenses still say “everything beyond the bridge isn’t porto anymore” — but they’re missing out big time.

the walk from cais de gaia all the way to cabedelo do douro is one of my favourites, especially at sunset. it’s super fun by bike too, and you can easily rent one near the d. luis bridge.

on one of my recent walks i spotted kaffa rio, a new coffee & brunch spot that popped up over the summer. and the best part? it’s open till 8pm — perfect for a post-work bite or a sunset snack break in between the stroll.
