i’ve lived in porto most of my life, and this city keeps shifting. ribeira used to feel too sketchy to walk through at night. rua das flores went from quiet shortcut to one of the most famous streets in town.
have noticed any changes since you moved here?
honestly, i’ve never seen the city this full of things to do.
porto’s buzzing—and you’re part of it now. not just passing through, but quietly syncing with the rhythm of the city.

🔦 local spotlight
matilde cunha might be one of the most creative photographers working in porto right now. her work plays with color and form in a way that feels intentional but never stiff—balancing that line between fashion, daily life, and something stranger in between.
she recently released her first book, volume 01, a self-published collection of documentary-style images she’s captured since 2015. it’s raw, personal, and shows just how long she’s been building her vision.
if you’ve got a brand or project and want to bring it to life with playful, colorful, one-of-a-kind visuals—matilde’s the one.
✈️ if you’re flying in 2025, i thought you should know
if you’re flying anytime soon, heads up: multiple airport strikes are happening across portuguese airports until the end of the year. check the dates here.
