during one month, it’s possible to visit the oceanário de lisboa at night — and with cheaper tickets than usual. if you’ve never been and fancy a day trip to lisbon, this is a great excuse.

if you’re up for something truly unique, caretos de podence is one of portugal’s most iconic traditions: masked figures dressed in colourful, fringed costumes with bells, rooted in ancient pagan rituals.
